TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a global set of conferences founded in 1984 and includes the slogan "Ideas Worth Spreading.” The annual conference series began in 1984 and multiple spinoffs such as TEDx have since occurred.
TEDx are independent TED-like events, which can be organized by anyone who obtains a free license from TED, agreeing to follow TED principles and guidelines.
In August of 2014, the first ever TEDx ZumbroRiver event was announced to the public and held in May of 2015 to a massive audience in Rochester, Minnesota.
The second TEDxZumbroRiver conference will not disappoint and will have a slightly different format – an evening program, featuring 10 energizing speakers. The doors will open at 2:30pm for networking while the event starts at 4:00pm. And (back by popular demand) attendees can enjoy a dinner break with local food trucks available. Pick up your tickets today — over 10% have already sold in the first 3 days of ticket sales opening.
TEDxZumbroRiver will be held May 18th, 2017 at Autumn Ridge Church in Rochester, Minnesota.
