Nutrition, also called nutrition, is a collective term for the intake of various substances through eating and drinking. The nutrients absorbed through nutrition serve to build up body substance, its renewal and to cover the vital energy requirements of all body functions. From a health perspective, nutrition plays a central role and can have a massive impact on well-being. Poor diet can increase the risk of numerous diseases, such as obesity and certain types of cancer such as colon cancer. Numerous studies have looked at the effects of nutrition on health. Researchers also link a large number of deaths from heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes to previous poor diet. In return, a balanced and healthy diet, for example with the help of a suitable diet, can have a positive effect on the course of numerous diseases and improve the overall quality of life. (vb)
