Poverty is fundamentally to be assessed depending on the prosperity of others and poor people therefore live in very different conditions in different countries worldwide. In this country, for example, most poor people do not have to go hungry and do not have to do without a roof over their heads, whereas this is the case in other countries. Regarding health, however, it can be said that poor people are fundamentally worse off than wealthy people, even if the health system tries at least approximately to compensate. People from poorer classes are generally at greater risk of illness. Conversely, illnesses can also be the cause of poverty if, for example, it is no longer possible to pursue a profession.
