Comfrey is a medicinal plant that already indicates the attributed effect in its name. Because it was used earlier for broken bones and blunt joint injuries - it should do the bones (legs) good. Especially the comfrey is still used today against sprains, bruises and joint pain, but there are also numerous other types. In view of the potentially harmful pyrrolizidine alkaloids contained, the (self-) use is meanwhile critically evaluated and only safety from the pharmacy should be used, as certain limit values have to be observed.
