Frozen chicken snacks and slice cheese recalled for plastic parts

Vossko GmbH & Co. and DMK Deutsche Milchkontor GmbH have started a recall for slice cheese products. In both cases, plastic parts are the reason for the recall of goods.

Health risks cannot be excluded

DMK Deutsche Milchkontor GmbH, or DMK GROUP for short, is recalling slice cheese products from the MILRAM brand and various private labels. "According to internal quality controls, it cannot be ruled out that small foreign objects made of plastic (packaging film) can be found in individual packages. Due to the nature and shape of the plastic particles, a health hazard cannot be ruled out with absolute certainty, ”says a message from the company. Vossko GmbH & Co. KG has also started a product recall due to plastic foreign bodies.

According to the DMK GROUP, only cheese products with the health mark DE-NI 086 EG and the following best-before dates (best before dates) are affected by the recall:

Foreign plastic objects in frozen chicken parts

Vossko GmbH & Co. KG has also started a recall due to plastic parts.

As is clear from a message from the company, the frozen chicken parts "Knusper Dinos" with the designation "GUT & GÜNSTIG" in the 400 gram pack are being recalled.

Accordingly, goods with the best before date printed on the back of the packaging and the health mark DE EV 254 EG are affected. Other best before dates and other articles are not affected.

"It cannot be ruled out that plastic foreign bodies are in individual" crispy dinosaurs "," says the message.

The article was mainly offered by Marktkauf and EDEKA, but has since been taken out of sale.

According to the information, the batch concerned was only offered in the federal states of Lower Saxony, Bremen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Berlin, Brandenburg, Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt, Hesse and in parts of Rhineland-Palatinate.
